Driving back from a long road trip we last minute booked this hotel on google maps. We received complimentary bar drinks, a clean and spacious room with a fridge. After dinner my son and I went to take advantage of our complimentary drinks the bartender greeted my son and offered him a soda. I asked the bartender to hive me his best red. We had already been to healdsburg so im sure whatever wine was here being given for free was better than bottom or second to bottom shelf wines. Good enough for a free drink. I definitely recommend this place for a getaway. We will be back!!! Thanks for ending the son and mom trip with a stellar ending !!!

We drove up from San Diego and arrived in the middle of the night and were welcomed with a warm greeting. Our room was really clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the fireplace actually worked and made the room feel so cozy. Great hot water and water pressure, and I loved having a bathtub after that long drive. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, and everyone on the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. The location is great too, right in downtown Monterey and close to everything. If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean and welcoming place for a quick Monterey getaway, Hotel Abrego is a great little find. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Rob the bartender was cheery as could be. The $70 dinner for two is priced very well and the white wine was chilled to perfection. Would definitely return again one day. Great place to stay in monterey! Thank you again Rob for cheering us up! God bless.

The hotel was really clean, and the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. The front desk staff and bartender were both wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay.

the hotel is very good rooms are clean and the service was good there Is parking the breakfast is not very good however I am recommending this hotel for a 2 day visit

One of the nicest rooms I've seen. Fireplace in the room. Patio for drinks and desserts. Nice staff and beautiful clean bathroom.

Great hotel in downtown Monterey; convenient to all. Friendly, helpful staff, especially Marquis (Asst Mgr) and Rob (Bartender). Location can have PM street noise on weekends; pretty quiet on weeknights.
