good hotel for business or family trip

Loved this hotel so much! Loved the breakfast, room was clean. Parking was easy! Thank you to the great staff!

The rooms were clean and it was nice having a balcony. The fireplace was very nice. The hotel was quiet the workout room was okay, just didn't have a lot of equipment. We didn't get to go in the pool but the pool look nice. The breakfast was decent and the complimentary one in the evening was a nice touch. I just wish they had a luggage trolley that I could have used to bring in my luggage. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all my questions. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was also very close to some really good eateries and a short drive to the aquarium and main town. I used Uber from this hotel and it was super easy and not expensive either because of the location.

Beautiful hotel nice staff so cozy heated pool & spa 😍 amazing shower very clean !!!! And comfy king bed !!! Also amazing breakfast in the morning at 7am !

Love this hotel. Close walking distance from Monterey's main street Alvarado, which is full of restaurants and local nightlife. Also, close to the Monterey Wharf and Lake El Estero. Many Monterey businesses use this hotel for out of town visitors.

Loved the location and was pleasantly surprised by the generously sized rooms. Not top-of-the-line modern, but very well maintained and cozy. The fireplace in the room was an unexpected bonus! Slept great—it was very quiet. The beds were comfy, and the bedding was crisp. Perfectly located near downtown, restaurants, and coffee shops where you can walk to.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting or you have friends in town. It is a little pricey but that is Monterey. If you compare it to other hotels, I would say there is more value. The breakfast is pretty good for what it is worth. There is a hot tub you can enjoy, it's pretty cold here so idk if you want to get into the pool. The Hotel is extremely clean and the staff is friendly! I have been here multiple times, it is my go to.

This is a nice hotel. Good price. The coffee and breakfast is good for free breakfast. Evening front desk staff was really nice.

Great location and amazing service. We spent our anniversary there and they wished us with a handwritten card and a bottle of wine. The on duty manager is nice enough and go above and beyond to help. One thing which you may need to check is accessibility as not all rooms have access via elevator and you may have to carry your luggage via stairs or ask for help.
